Starting in April 2027, the Institute of Accounting and Auditing at Ulm University is offering a position as a Research Associate and PhD Candidate. Your doctoral research should be in the field of accounting, auditing, or an interdisciplinary area connecting accounting or auditing with other academic disciplines. Upon completion of your doctoral degree, a wide range of career opportunities will be available to you.

Your profile:

• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics or a related field, such as Business Mathematics or Business Information Systems
• Academic interest in auditing and accounting
• Understanding of economic interrelationships, strong academic writing skills and the ability to contribute to university teaching
• High level of motivation, reliability and strong teamwork skills

Your responsibilities:

• Involvement in research projects in the fields of national and international accounting and auditing
• Contribution to teaching activities, in particular through tutorials and the supervision of seminar papers and theses
• Pursuit a doctoral degree
