For the Psychotherapeutic university outpatient clinic we are looking for an
Academic employee (m/f/d) with psychotherapeutic practice, duties in teaching and research

As part of the introduction of the new Master’s program “Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy,” we are seeking licensed child and adolescent psychotherapists or licensed psychotherapists for adults (m/f/d) for a position combining clinical work (50%) and teaching and research (50%) in this area. Applications are explicitly encouraged from candidates who will obtain their license in spring 2026. Part-time employment is possible.
Within the Master’s program, both basic and patient-oriented teaching as well as clinical research are conducted. A strong scientific interest is expected, and further academic pursuits—such as a doctorate or other qualification pathways—are explicitly encouraged and supported.
Your profile:
- Approbation as a psychological psychotherapist for adults or children and adolescents with an equivalent licence (approbation) for German health insurances (behavioral, systemic, psychoanalytic background)
- Diploma or master’s degree in psychology
- Experience in the therapy of mental disorders (e.g. depression, anxiety disorders, eating disorders)
- Pronounced interest in research in the clinical field as well as enthusiasm for teaching clinical psychology and health psychology; interest in further education and development
Your responsibilities:
- Conduct of individual and/or group therapies in the university outpatient clinic
- Implementation of instruction-bound teaching in the fields of clinical psychology and psychotherapy as well as health psychology
- Guidance and supervision of patients and students
- Participation in administration and organization of the department and institute
- Support in the implementation of research projects of the department of Clinical and Health Psychology
