partiipation services in research and teaching, in particular collaboration with the DFG-funded SFB 1021

Project „RNA viruses induce heterologous immune protection from atopy and asthma“ in the research division of the Institute

viral infection, peptide immunization, influenza vaccination, allergen-induced experimental asthma mouse models

deep immunophenotyping using CyTOF, RNAseq analysis and flow cytometry

The position will be filled by a temporary contract that is limited to the period which is necessary to gain further scientific expertise (such as the preparation for a subsequent qualification period). Within the entrusted tasks the opportunity for independent scientific work to obtain further personal qualification is given. The limitation of the contract complies to § 2 Abs. 1 WissZeitVG.Profile:

completed academic university studies (Diploma, Master or similar) and doctorate in biology or biomedicine

experience in immunology/virology, cellular and/or molecular biological working methods and ideally animal experimental experience
