To this end, we are looking for colleagues from a wide range of disciplines, including the natural sciences as well as the social sciences. We are proud to work together in a truly integrating manner. Our partners, e.g. the Max Planck Institute for Meteorology, Helmholtz Centre Hereon or the German Climate Computing Centre are also hiring. All jobs:

Your responsibilities

Duties include academic services in the project named above. Research associates may also pursue further academic qualifications outside of their work responsibilities.

The Research Associate will work in the following sub project:

“Internal decarbonization dynamics in companies (WP1): To explain what kind of practices are taken into consideration, we analyze the internal dynamics within companies (Busch & Hoffmann, 2011; Engels et al., 2020; Wruk et al., 2019b) and among stakeholder groups (Sprengel & Busch, 2011), such as employees and unions, internal structures, such as management structures and professions, and the relationship towards climate change, such as reactions to extreme events and material conditions for production. To do so, we will broaden the CLICCS company panel with 20 large companies from Germany, the US, Brazil, Hong Kong, and Japan, by adding companies from South Africa and Iran. By asking in-depth questions repeatedly, central internal dynamics become visible (M1.C).”
