The Inter-University Centre for Dance (-berlin.de) is an internationally oriented educational and rese-arch institute for contemporary dance, choreography and performance jointly run by the University of the Arts Berlin and the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts, in cooperation with TanzRaumBerlin, a network from the professional dance scene. There are three established courses of study at the HZT: Dance, Context, Chore-ography (BA), Choreography (MA) and Solo/Dance/Authorship (MA). The HZT Berlin stands for a close in-tegration of artistic and academic practice. The MA Solo/Dance/Authorship (SODA) is a practice-led master’s degree course that carries out research into body- and movement-based performative practices in the form of a two-year, full-time study programme. Its focus lies in the individual development of and individual research by students. The course offers a transdisciplinary framework for graduates and working professionals who wish to critically reflect on, expand and transform their artistic practice within an academic structure. A vibrant and supportive environment encourages students to explore their specific realities and concerns through a range of research approaches within and beyond the arts. https://www.hzt-berlin.de/studium/studiengaenge/ma-soda/
