IT trifft Forschung, Lehre und High-Performance Computing: Werde Teil des Department Computer Science & Artificial Intelligence (CSAI) und unterstütze ein dynamisches, forschungsnahes Umfeld an der Schnittstelle von Department-IT und HPC-/GPU-Infrastruktur. Du begleitest den technischen Betrieb, koordinierst Zugriffsprozesse und schaffst verlässliche digitale Arbeitsumgebungen für Wissenschaftlerinnen, Wissenschaftler, Lehrende und Studierende.

Deine Aufgaben:

  • Betreuung des Betriebs, der Prozesse und der Abläufe im Bereich der lokalen Department IT-Infrastruktur mit Schwerpunkt HPC
  • Administration von Client-, Server- und HPC-Systemen sowie IT-Services
  • Verwaltung von HPC-Zugängen, Berechtigungen und Sicherheitsprozessen
  • Betreuung von Software-, Entwicklungs- und KI-Umgebungen für Forschung und Lehre
  • IT-Beratung und Support für Forschende, Lehrende und Studierende
  • IT-Betrieb und Betreuung des UTN Maker Space

Dein Profil:

Erforderlich:

  • Abgeschlossene Ausbildung als Fachinformatiker/-in der Fachrichtung Systemintegration, IT-System-Elektroniker/-in, IT-Systemkaufleute, eine vergleichbare Ausbildung oder vergleichbare Qualifikationen und Erfahrungen, aufgrund derer eine entsprechende Tätigkeit ausgeübt werden kann
  • Mindestens ein Jahr einschlägige Berufserfahrung
  • Mindestens ein Jahr praktische Erfahrung in der Administration und Betreuung von Windows-, macOS- und/oder Linux-Systemen auf Client- und Serverseite
  • Mindestens ein Jahr praktische Erfahrung in der Installation und Konfiguration der oben genannten Systeme und Software
  • Hohe Kunden- und Serviceorientierung sowie ein ausgeprägter Einsatz- und Erfolgswille
  • Hohes Maß an Selbstständigkeit, Eigenverantwortung und eine strukturierte, teamorientierte Arbeitsweise

Wünschenswert:

  • Erfahrung im Hochschulkontext oder einer öffentlichen Behörde
  • Gute Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift

Your tasks:

  • Overseeing operations, processes, and workflows related to the local department’s IT infrastructure, with a focus on HPC
  • Administration of client, server, and HPC systems, as well as IT services
  • Management of HPC access, permissions, and security processes
  • Support for software, development, and AI environments for research and teaching
  • IT consulting and support for researchers, faculty, and students
  • IT operations and support for the UTN Maker Space

Your profile:

Required:

  • Completed training as an IT specialist specializing in system integration, an IT systems electronics technician, an IT systems business administrator, or a comparable program, or comparable qualifications and experience that enable the candidate to perform the relevant duties
  • At least one year of relevant professional experience
  • At least one year of practical experience in the administration and support of Windows, macOS, and/or Linux systems on both the client and server sides
  • At least one year of practical experience in the installation and configuration of the aforementioned systems and software
  • Strong customer and service orientation, as well as a strong commitment and drive to succeed
  • A high degree of independence, personal responsibility, and a structured, team-oriented approach to work

Desirable:

  • Experience in a higher education setting or a public agency
  • Good written and spoken English skills
