Ludwigsburg University of Education is one of six Universities of Education in Baden- Württemberg, with around 6,000 students and over 470 staff members. Universities of Education are higher education institutions on a par with universities, with the right to award doctorates and habilitations, and focus on
educational issues in both research and teaching. Internationalisation is a key priority at Ludwigsburg University of Education.

Responsibilities:

Teaching (9 contact hours per week) and research in Protestant Theology/Religious Education with a focus on Biblical Studies (Old or New Testament), including teaching and research in interreligious contexts
Supervision of school internships and teaching placements
Participation in examinations
Engagement in the university's other core tasks (e.g., self-governance and assuming leadership roles)
Acquisition of third-party funding and regular publication activities

Requirements:

Completed relevant university degree
Relevant doctoral degree
Relevant Research and Publications
Habilitation or equivalent academic achievements
Practical teaching experience according to section 47 subsection 3 sentence 1 of the act on the higher education institutions in the Land of Baden-Württemberg (LHG)
Teaching experience
Ability to conduct courses in both German and English
Willingness and Ability to engage in ecumenical and interreligious cooperation within the Institute of Theology
Willingness to participate in academic continuing education programs
