The Max Planck Institute for Behavioral Economics with its approximately 80 employees, scholars and visiting researchers is one of more than 80 institutions of the Max Planck Society. We are an internationally oriented research institute where economists use experimental and empirical methods to study human decision-making behavior and draw insights from their findings to inform the design of markets, institutions, and public policies.
The Experimental Economics Group uses experimental and observational methods to study key societal issues in behavioral, development, educational, and health economics. The group aims to identify effective interventions and to understand how preferences, social norms, and incentives influence behavior.
The Experimental Economics Group is offering an internship in applied economic research as soon as possible.
