We are looking for you:

Research Associate in the fields of International Relations, with a specialization in the international governance of emerging technologies (m/f/x)

in Munich

Your tasks and responsibilities:

  • Teaching and student supervision at the BA level (3,25 SWS per semester) in the field of International Relations.
  • Administrative support of the Chair.
  • Opportunity to contribute to the Chair’s research agenda and to carry out independent research, e.g., a doctoral thesis.
  • 24-month contract, salary according to the University Employment Scale: TV-L E13, 65%.

Your qualifications:

  • Excellent degree and thesis in Political Science (MA or equivalent), with a focus on International Relations. Expertise in the international governance of emerging technologies is particularly welcome.
  • Excellent English language skills.
  • Experience in undergraduate teaching in International Relations.
  • Proficiency in qualitative and quantitative research methods.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
