Full Professorship (W3) of Work, Organizational and Economic Psychology (Chair)

commencing on April 1, 2027.

LMU Munich is seeking to recruit a highly distinguished individual who has demonstrated outstanding academic qualifications.

Successful candidates are expected to represent the entire field of Work, Organizational, and Economic Psychology at the highest level in both research and teaching, and have already made significant contributions to shaping this field in the past.

Prerequisites for this position are a university degree, a doctoral degree or a comparable specific qualification, teaching skills at university level, excellent academic achievements and a productive and promising research program.

The future holder of the chair should proactively seek and foster collaborations with other teaching and research units within the Department of Psychology (and beyond). Additionally, the candidate is expected to engage with the Center for Leadership and People Management at LMU (CLPM: ).

According to the "Mission Statement" of the Department of Psychology (), the future professor should not only be distinguished in the areas of research and teaching, but also in leadership (mentoring, organizational and management skills) and societal impact (e.g. science communication, knowledge transfer). These aspects should be explicitly addressed in the cover letter and CV.

The Department of Psychology values transparent, robust, and replicable research.
