Research Fellow (m/f/x) in Business Administration

JOB DESCRIPTION
- You will develop and work on research projects on the use of new technologies in business activities in Africa, as well as on market development and go-to-market approaches in emerging markets.
- You will design empirical research, collect and analyse data, and publish your findings in scientific journals.
- You will present your research at academic and business conferences.
- You will prepare research findings for different target audiences as part of our communication activities, for example in webinars, presentations or short publications.
- You will identify new opportunities for research funding and contribute to funding applications.
- You will further develop our network and maintain an exchange with international partners from academia, business, and politics.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
- We require a completed degree in business administration, economics or a closely related field, at master’s or postdoctoral level.
- You have proven experience in scientific work and good knowledge of empirical research methods, particularly qualitative methods.
- Very good written and spoken English skills are essential; knowledge of German and French is an advantage.
- You demonstrate initiative, a structured way of working and a strong ability to implement ideas.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills, as well as a willingness to travel internationally, are required
