Professor of sustainability management and life cycle engineering (W2)Available from 01.09.2024 · Full-Time· Bocholt CampusAs a person comitted to the field of industrial sustainability management, you have extensive practical experience in the design of sustainable corporate processes. You will educate contents and methods for the evaluation of ecological transformation of companies in bachelor's and master's degree programs in the faculty of mechanical engineering. You will also contribute your expertise to applied research.You have obtained a qualification in scientific work, usually verified by a relevant doctorate. From your five years of professional axperience, of which at least three years have to be industry related, you will bring relevant competences in methodical application and design of sustainably value creation processes.You help students on their way to their professional future. Ideally, you have experience in higher education teaching. Your commitment to further didactic qualification completes your profile.What we expect

You will teach in German and English and will contribute your expertise to basic and advanced subjects

You will conduct research in the field of sustainable industrial value creation

You will provide organisational support to the department and help to develop the content and methodology of the newly created degree program "sustainable engineering and management"
