With a medical degree at the University Medicine Neumarkt a. M. Campus Hamburg (UMCH), high school graduates can fulfill their dream and study medicine in Germany without waiting and independently of the NC. The UMCH is a branch of the State University for Medicine, Pharmacy, Natural Sciences and Technology Neumarkt am Mieresch (UMFST Neumarkt a. M.), which enables students in Hamburg to complete their medical studies in English. CPE Europe GmbH, as campus operator of the University Targu Mures Medical Campus Hamburg (UMCH), offers English-speaking preparatory courses for future medical studies in its facilities in Hamburg-Bahrenfeld (Albert-Einstein-Ring 11 – 15, 22761 Hamburg).For these preparatory courses, CPE Europe invites applications for the following position:Medical student or assistant doctor for 1 Workshop per monthwith a scope of 5-6 hours per workshop.The prospective job holder will be appointed as a self-employed lecturer for teaching in aforementioned course program. He/she plans and structures his/her courses independently.The duties associated with this position include:

Conducting practical workshops with students interested in medicine in the preparatory courses offered at the UMCH.

Providing insights into the everyday life of a medical doctor

Imparting knowledge in making diagnoses and assessing clinical pictures

Coordinating and teaching with the other teachers and the coordination team

Preparing presentations for the workshops from material provided

Required qualifications:

A current study of medicine in the clinical / higher semester or a completed medical specialist training

Basic knowledge of surgery esp. suturing of wounds

General medicine, diagnostic methods and therapeutic principles of the emergency department

Very good knowledge of English required (English is the language of instruction)

Fun of teaching at the university sector and in adult education

Pedagogical empathy

Intercultural competence

Motivation, commitment and enthusiasm for introducing young people to the profession of medicine
