Duties include academic services in the project named above. Research associates may also pursue independent research and further academic qualifications.
The interdisciplinary Centre for Advanced Studies is concerned with the history of the imagination of "force" in the arts and sciences from antiquity to the present. The research focus of the vacant position is in the field of art history and visual history. The applicant is expected to conduct a research project that explores notions of force or energy in the the field of art history, visual and design history of landscape and/or in the field of contemporary landscape design and/or landscape architecture. Responsibilities include the support and assistance of the research activities of the Centre of Advanced Studies through events and publications that are thematically relevant.
A university degree in a relevant field.
In addition to an outstanding degree, experience in interdisciplinary research contexts, German language skills and excellent English language skills are desired.
