Scope of work: full-time position suitable for part-time
Duties include academic services in the project named above. Research associates may also pursue independent research and further academic qualifications.
A university degree in a relevant field plus doctorate.
The candidate should have a PhD Diploma in Physics, Nanosciene or related field. Proofed experience, ideally PhD, with X-ray synchortron spectroscopic methods and strong expertise in data analysis and interpretation is required.
Knowledge of Python or other programming language and XAS data analysis by FDMNES and FEFF or similar is desired.
Experience with in situ XAS experiments, inorganic nanoparticle synthesis in solution and their characterization (crystal structure analysis, SEM/TEM) are a strong plus.
Excellent communication in English and Solid foundation of solid-state and nanostructure physics is necessary.
