Research associates will be expected primarily to teach and conduct research. The research associate will also have the opportunity to pursue further academic qualifications, in particular a doctoral dissertation. At least one-third of set working hours will be made available for the research associate’s own academic work.
Research associates will be required to conduct and assist research on digital innovation, transformation, and/or entrepreneurship. Duties include preparation, initiation, completion and management of research projects using quantitative, qualitative, and/or computational research methods. Duties also include covering teaching assistance (3 LVS per week) in courses covering technology innovation management, seminars, information systems research, and digital innovation, assistance with administrative tasks of the Chair, and support in the supervision and examination of bachelor and master thesis in this area.
A university degree in a relevant field.
Relevant fields may include information systems, organization science, management science, industrial engineering, social science, or computer science. Substantive knowledge of current research on digital innovation, transformation, and/or entrepreneurship is desirable. Knowledge of quantitative, qualitative, or computational research methods must be demonstrated. Mastery of the English language (written and spoken) is expected. The position is open to applicants with a masters degree that are interested in pursuing doctoral studies.
