Representation of the field of project management and digital business processes in the media sector in teaching and research, both in the fundamentals and in the in-depth studies

Assumption of research and development activities

Proactive acquisition of third-party funding through research and transfer activities

Desired areas of focus include agile methodologies, digital media software engineering, and technology management

Active participation in the development and expansion of the media study programs

Practice-oriented teaching in the subject areas both in German and in English and also using digital formats (e-learning, blended learning) in Ansbach and possibly at other university sites

Subject-specific and strategic further development of the subject areas with special focus on digitisation

High-quality supervision of practical assignments, Bachelor's and Master's theses as well as doctorates

Involvement in setting up new international partnerships and maintaining existing ones

Active and interdisciplinary involvement in administering academic affairs

You offer

University degree, preferably in a relevant field, preferably in media business, media management or media informatics

Excellent academic achievements in research and an outstanding doctoral degree or equivalent academic qualification

Above-average professional and academic qualifications in the media field

Deep understanding of transformation and digital disruption in media companies

Excellent knowledge and extensive practical experience in the implementation of complex projects

Mature teaching skills and convincing pedagogical aptitude

Very good German and English proficiency and ability and willingness to teach in German and in English

Enthusiasm for passing on your practical experience in teaching applied research to our students as future academics

Special achievements in the implementation and development of academic insights and methods in a minimum of five years of work experience gained after completing your first degree and of which at least three years must have been gained outside of the university sector. If, over a period of at least five years, a considerable portion of your work involved a cooperation between a university and a non-academic employer, this time may be considered to meet the requirements for non-academic work experience in special cases (pursuant to article 7 (3) sentence 1 point (3) of the Bavarian Higher Education Act (BayHSchG))
